Welcome to DA. Since you've just joined the site, you might want to check out DAWelcomeWagon. They have a lot of tutorials regarding the site that are useful for newer deviants. 
projecteducate is also an excellent place to learn how to navigate DA and make the most of your experience. 
Since you've uploaded some traditional art, I also wanted to recommend a few other groups that you might be interested in:
Traditionalists - this is a great group for traditional artists, and you'll find a lot of folks in this group who just enjoy traditional art as well. 
ThumbHub - this group has a chat room where you can meet other deviants in real time, show off your artwork, and see the artwork others share. 
You'll want to check out the art commands for the room before entering, so you'll know what to tell the bot to do. Those can be found here: ThumbHub Art Commands.
I definitely recommend checking out the forum if you're looking to make new friends or just chat in general.
